House to rent in Es Mercadal, in a quiet pedestrian zone. Excellent location for visiting the whole island, famous for its pristine beaches with crystal-clear waters and for the “cami de cavalls” path that leads around the island. The town is one of Menorca's most beautiful villages and one of the most sought-after for staying on the island. It retains the island's authentic atmosphere and offers a full range of services. Famous for its market, its restaurants and the best ensaimada (typical cake) in the world. The village is close to the famous virgin beaches of the north (Cavalleria, Pregonda, Binimella, Arenal d'en Castell), and the ones in the south (Binigaus, Galdana) and also to the pretty fishing village of Fornells.
Ground floor: living room with TV, kitchen, bathroom, exit to patio where you can find the stairs that leads to the terrace. Fisrt floor: one bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two beds; both have ceiling fans. No wifi but we can install it if needed.
You'll be a minute's walk from everything: supermarkets, banks, bakeries, bars, restaurants, ensaimadas oven... There is a free public parking close to the house. You can get anywhere in 20-30 minutes by car. It's the ideal place if you really want to visit the island and not just go to the beach.
