We are in the council area of Muxia. The council town, also called Muxia, is just a short half-hour walk away or just 5 minutes by car. You will find bars, restaurants, a children's play area, a marina, a library, a medical centre and shops. Here you will also find el Santuario da Virxe da Barca (church) at the far tip of the headland. Sit and listen to the waves pound the rocks whilst you watch the sunset over the coast.Within half an hour’s walk of the property are three gorgeous beaches and more just a short drive away. These beaches rarely get very crowded even in the height of summer so you can really enjoy the sand and sea.The area is steeped in history so whether your interest is celts, Romans, dolmens or churches you are guaranteed to find something to peak your interest. Or maybe you want to see some traditional lace-making, and hear some traditional bagpipes and tambourine playing.
