This is the best meeting point in the city. It’s very close to Plaça Catalunya and to the posh Passeig de Gràcia, and at the top of Las Ramblas. If you’re waiting for friends in the evening for a meal or getting ready for a shopping expedition by day nowhere in the Ciutat Vella or Eixample will be more than a few minutes on foot from this cozy home. Barcelona’s flagship branch of El Corte Inglés is close-by, and if you’re new to the city and want to get oriented you could go inside to pick up a map. The nearest station to your home is L1 and L3 Catalunya, but I recommend L4, is Jaume I on the Yellow Line, which will take you to the best attractions in the city, such as the many beaches and Plaza Catalunya. As you will be located in the City Center, everything will be very close by and you will be able to rent a bike or else take taxis, as the distances will allow you to walk around the city.
