Rent the original industrial-style and functional home, adapted to today’s times, renovated in 2021. The project has been featured in several architecture and interior design magazines. To ensure indoor comfort, state-of-the-art aluminum windows were installed, with thermal-bridge break, fully soundproofed, and glass with a solar filter. In addition, all interior walls were acoustically insulated, and air conditioning (hot/cold) was integrated into a false ceiling. The home also features heating via radiators with an individual natural-gas boiler. The original solid wood parquet was restored, and the original metal structure was left exposed in the living room and entrance. Throughout the home, there are high ceilings—especially in the living room–dining room–kitchen area—which makes the space feel very spacious. The home is divided into two areas: the day area and the night area, which can be separated using a large floor-to-ceiling door. The day area is very spacious and bright, with 2 large bay windows facing the street and two facing interior patios. It includes a large open kitchen, with enough space to comfortably arrange a dining area, living room, and a study for working from home. The kitchen is custom-made, with solid natural pine wood cabinetry on the inside and lacquered finishes on the outside. It is equipped with new high-end appliances and a large countertop made of porcelain material. The induction hob, oven, dishwasher, extractor hood, fridge, and washing machine—by brands such as Bosch and Samsung—are all less than one year old. The night area is laid out to maximize storage space and the feeling of spaciousness. The main sleeping area (as shown in the photos with a mattress), with a window to an interior patio, is raised by a wooden platform. Since this platform is fully usable, it provides additional storage, in addition to the dressing area itself, a cleaning closet, shelves/upper storage (altillos), etc. A large silver blackout curtain allows you to configure the space in different positions and completely darken the sleeping area. In front of it, a second space, also raised on a usable platform and separated by a semi-open closet and a shelving unit, with a window to an interior patio, serves as a large dressing room or a small second bedroom.
