Our apartment is located next to Las Ramblas in Barcelona, one of the areas with the most history and life in the city. The neighborhood has many bars and restaurants, which gives rise to a great gastronomic diversity. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the beach or the city center. A few meters away, you will find the century-old Boqueria Market, one of the most famous in the world, with top quality products and where Michelin-starred chefs supply themselves. A few more steps and you will find yourself in front of the façade of the Liceu, one of the world's temples of opera, with its exclusive Cercle del Liceu, the epicentre of the cultural and economic power of the 19th century. The main tourist attractions such as the Cathedral in the Gothic Quarter, the Picasso Museum, the MACBA or the CCCB, the Palau de la Música, a key piece of Catalan Modernism, or some of the stellar architectural works of Gaudí, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, as well as the exclusive shops of Paseo de Gracia can be visited comfortably on foot. The rest of the tourist points of interest in the city: Park Güell, Sagrada Familia, Fira de Barcelona, Nou Camp, Barceloneta and its beaches are easily accessible by short bus or metro rides, leaving from Plaza Catalunya, 300 meters from the apartment.
